The short version
snapcalcs does not collect personal data, does not use tracking cookies, and does not sell or share information with third parties. The numbers you type into a calculator stay in your browser.
Information we don't collect
The calculators on snapcalcs run entirely in your browser. Salary figures, VAT amounts, income, and any other values you enter are not sent to our servers, not logged, and not stored anywhere. We have no way of seeing what you calculate.
We do not ask you to sign up, create an account, or provide an email address to use any calculator on this site.
Cookies
snapcalcs does not use advertising cookies, tracking cookies, or cross-site cookies. No cookie banner is shown because no non-essential cookies are set.
Analytics
To understand which calculators are useful and to spot errors, we use Vercel Web Analytics. This service records aggregated, privacy-friendly page-view data (such as the URL visited, the country, and the device type) without using cookies and without identifying individual visitors.
You can read more about how this works in Vercel's privacy policy.
Advertising
snapcalcs does not currently display advertising. If advertising is ever introduced in the future, it will be clearly disclosed here and this policy will be updated to describe what data (if any) is shared with advertising partners. We will not use advertising networks that require personally identifiable information.
External links
Some pages link to HMRC, the Low Pay Commission, and other UK government or reference sites. When you follow a link to an external site, that site's own privacy policy applies — snapcalcs has no control over their practices.
Changes to this policy
If this policy is updated, the “Last updated” date at the top of the page will change. Material changes will be noted here.
